Kathleen has begun her new role with JSA Healthcare in lovely downtown St. Petersburg. If her first week is any indication of the months to come, then she will be very busy with the exponential growth of her company. Her co-workers are very nice and competent. The offices have a wonderful view of Tampa Bay and the St. Pete Pier. She is a wonderful mother, perfect wife and amazing lawyer poised to accomplish much in a short amount of time.
Back on the homefront, Nathaniel is cruising around the house, disassembling everything that can be disassembled, tearing everything that can be torn, and eating everthing that can be put into his mouth. He is strengthening his ability to climb everyday and repeats words back to me on occasion.
Prior to Kath's big first day, we were able to take a family trip to Pass-A-Grille and stay overnight on the beach at the Keystone Hotel. It was a great time, not expensive and perfect for beach-goers. There are several restaurants within walking distance that were "Kid Friendly". If you're looking to spend a couple days away from home, I highly suggest this as a mini-vacation.
We have been spending quite a bit of time at the Florida Aquarium, where fish and fun are abundant. Nathaniel followed a moray eel across the 50 feet long by 20 feet tall wall of water in the main coral reef exhibit and pointed to a grouper as it passed. This picture shows him in front of the shark tank. It's a perfect place for little walkers to have fun in a safe and contained environment.
The waterpark is especially fun for Nat. He likes following the bigger kids around and exploring. And I can't forget this fact, he likes to get wet.
The landscaping is complete. Both front and back are done to the best of our abilities and strength.
The last step is moving the garden box and replacing the south fence, which will be a piece of cake after all of the moving of dirt, shells and plants. I am looking forward to a break with this house after 3 long years of making it a home.
And, yes, I am writing; I am taking baby steps with my child towards my career, and have high asperations to do this well.
Our warmest regards,
